Have you ever taken the Brompton on the plane as hand luggage with BA. Or always checked it in Jonathan2712 ?
I've always checked it in, and normally its been when I've flown in to LCY / DUB where its fairly quick to collect luggage, and the City Flyer overhead bins are quite small. I've seen youtube videos of people taking them on as hand luggage for long haul flights.
