Not sure if this is the correct thread - so move it if necessary.

Before the domestic flight and for the very first time, as an option (like luggage, seat etc) I've purchased a pass stream - but wifi onboard was (surprise, surprise ) inop. There was no mention from the crew upon boarding. Can I use it for another flight (same route/plane type/length only?)? Within one year I guess as the EMD number differs from ticket number? Thanks and sorry if it was asked before.
