Me, as LH*G I get NOTHING if I purchase the light fare (even though it can be as much as 800€) on my own LH group carriers.
i'm wrapped in Lufthansa's senatorial robe, too. And i have to pay for bags on light fares. That, and the new qualifying regime, have been annoying enough for me to call it a day with M&M.
Thankfully I still have a Turkish card up my sleeve - and I can assure you that it's enough to wipe out the charge for checking in a bag when i fly on TAP's basic fares.
*G is no help in TP online seat assignments, but i find the airline's check-in and gate agents helpful in sorting that out.
