There is seemingly no way to re-initiate Authenticator.
The only option is a 'recovery code' (can't remember the right term), which the website says was given when the account was set up. This was years ago and she no longer has that email.
How do we work around this (short of calling BA, assuming they can fix it!?)
As far as my conversations with customer service went, there is no way to re-initiate the authentication app via BA or to change the method between SMS and authentication app

I found I had taken a screenshot of the QR code when I first was asked to setup 2fa on my old phone, and that QR code still works (the link the BA send from [email protected] had expired).

When your wife tries to login, in the options below authenticator OTP in blue, can she see 'use fingerprint or facial recognition'? That should be stored/authenticated by the device.
