My account was suspended after I used Award Wallet.

It took two weeks to regain access. Telephone calls were a waste of time. I only got anywhere by messaging them on X, and even there the response rate is very slow.

Promised replies never came. I had to chase them again and again. I only found out that my account was unlocked because I tried to log in. They never told me.

I understand the need to protect accounts, but they don't seem to understand the need to restore access for the account holder.

Worse, even though I now have access to my account it seems that I am still restricted from doing anything.

I can't change a booking.
Cancelling an award booking used to happen very swiftly but now I'm having days of hassle with customer support and still haven't received my Avios.
I can't change the email address on my account.
I can't transfer my Avios back out to BA.

Anyone else having ongoing issues after your access was restored?

I'm tempted to create a new QR account in future and hope that will let me operate without whatever these restrictions are. As it stands it's so problematic that QR have gone from being my default choice for spending Avios to my last choice.
