IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed four new Garner properties, expanding its footprint in the UK and Europe:

1. Garner Hotel Reading Centre (UK): Opening late 2024, following a refurbishment in partnership with Nilvip Hotels. This 53-room hotel is located in central Reading, providing easy access to commercial hubs and transport links.

2. Garner Hotel Preston Samlesbury (UK): Also opening later in 2024, in partnership with KRO Hospitality. This 80-room hotel is near the M6 motorway, offering convenience for travellers in Northwest England.

3. Garner Hotel Hamburg Nord (Germany): Part of a long-term agreement with NOVUM Hospitality, this hotel in Hamburg will be one of the first locations from NOVUM’s converted brands to open.

4. Garner Hotel Istanbul (Türkiye): Set to open in 2025, this 126-room property near Istanbul’s International Airport will cater to transient travellers.

Garner, launched in August 2023, focuses on midscale conversions, offering flexible options for hotel owners and affordable stays for guests.

By mid-2024, 76 properties had been signed globally, with 58 in Europe.

The brand has rapidly grown, with 79 properties signed globally in markets like the US, UK, Germany, Japan, and Türkiye, with four already operational.
