Im going to be flying from Germany to the US via DUB all with AerLingus. As far as I know I should be eligible for the Flight Connections Facility in T2 of DUB airport.

Regarding hand baggage, is it rescreened in DUB when entering Ireland, even though transiting fully in T2? Will hand baggage also be rescreened at the USA pre clearance in DUB?

I was thinking of buying larger volume liquids in Duty Free in Germany, which I’d hand carry. But I was worried it may be too large of volume in case there is additional rescreenings (twice??) when transiting (in Flight Connections facility in T2 and USA preclearance in T2).
