You can also force the "old" interface to appear by using desktop mode under settings on most browsers. If you try booking a minor without changing this setting you should get a warning that you have to visit this site on a computer to make the booking. I have seen this on AS's website when I was trying to link two adult tickets purchased seperately. I could only link them using the desktop mode.
