This will fail big time and is a safety issue. They need a beep on exit row not boarding order and the testing is already showing problems. Again I can not believe it is being tested. Its a safety issue.
1) No it's not
2) American is the only legacy carrier who does the exit row verification thing during boarding pass scanning and there's no problems with exit row stuff on Delta or United or even American themselves, not sure what the point here is
