i called and they said no OWS benefits for you onward tickets. Confirmed by supervisor. Then they put in my AS ff#.

incredible devaluation of AS miles. Cash price is $59, and no bag fees as OWS. If an award flight, bag fees are $80 for two bags. Considering tax, the cash outlay on the award is $25 more than just paying cash (not factoring in the use of the miles vs. earing miles).
