hi,

It has been a few years since i visited but IIRC, this hotel is more of a beach resort style hotel in a residential area so i thought there was little in the immediate area.
That said, Muscat was a beautiful place to visit ( lots of soukhs around the corniche (nice waterfront to walk around and a taxi from the hotel was cheap) and is a completely different experience from Dubai
