I agree. The only "bucket and spade" SEA routes I can think of are DPS and HKT.
As someone who flies a lot within Europe, I'm used to ULCCs. I don't mind not having IFEs or a hot meal when BA gets me to NCE for less than £100. I still gravitate towards OW only because of the lounge access.
