Weirdest lost luggage story

Yesterday me and my wife traveled from Athens to Marrakesh with two checked luggage. Arriving in Marrakesh and after a long wait at passport control we went to the belt to pick up the bags, but we only found my wife's. I declared the bag lost at the airport and stared checking it's airtag. After it made a quick stop at Nobu Marrakesh, it traveled by road to Casablanca, where it boarded a flight to Cairo connecting at Istanbul. My best idea is that it took TK618 & TK692. It ended up at a house in Cairo in the Maadi area.

Was my bag stolen? Who goes through such a trip with a stolen bag? Did the person who took it mistakingly thought it was his? Throughout all this journey? And removed the A3 tag without noticing? And didn't see the A3*G card that was attached to it's handle?

I consider the bag lost, but just so I won't be telling my future self I didn't to my best, should I try A3 and TK with my story? Any other ideas of what else I could try? Social media?
