anything beyond the above tells BA the Avios were sold which is a nono

personally I dont get why anyone would pay anyone to book them a trip using their own miles. now if the OP bought the Avios from the TA who somehow got them transferred into the OPs account that too would be a nono and goodbye Charlie
My wife and I regularly book tickets using Avios for my mother in law to come to the Uk to look after our son whilst we travel. We all have different surnames. I never even considered it might look dodgy to BA. Now I’m a bit anxious as we also rely on avios for Mrs InFF’s weekly trip to Europe for work - (for us, BAEC is a fantastic scheme and saves us thousands of pounds).

do you think I should worry? Or even contact BAEC proactively?
