295,500 Avios Disappeared, Account Deactivated

Please help? My travel agent, my "Third Party Nominee," made Avios reservations for our family trip to Europe, but then canceled those tickets representing 295,500 Avios for a better itinerary. Instead of refunding the Avios, on June 4, 2024 British Airways "deactivated" or "locked" my account, for-- depending upon which representative answers the phone-- "fraud" or, (and this is ridiculous,) "inactivity."

During 220 minutes of talking to several ineffective support representatives, I was directly instructed to close my account and open a new one into which the Avios would be refunded by the "Order Department," -- but numerous complaints since to Global Customer Relations, (and even a packet of evidence and a letter to Sean Doyle, President and CEO,) all remain unanswered with my account empty.

My travel agent, who made our rewards reservations for a fee, says she represents at least 25 clients whose 5 MILLION Avios disappeared into locked accounts around JUNE 4, 2024. Today is OCTOBER 21, 2024.

How may I get this resolved? British Airway's conditions call for arbitration, which is a costly affair... but at this point I have so much time invested that it's the principle that counts. I've done NOTHING unethical or immoral or in any way wrong. No, I did not sell miles, and the tickets were only for myself, my husband, our sons and their wives. Does BA just not want to honor their responsibility for rewards travel? I'm flummoxed.
