In the past, before the ID scanners, I had issues with TSA refusing my NEXUS or GE card claiming it wasn't valid. I'd point out that it was issued by their own agency and then they;d have to get out their book and each time I was eventually allowed to pass. As time went on, they began to recognize these cards as acceptable. I've not encountered a problem with them in years. But now I often use the CLEAR line where no ID is necessary.

t tried my NEXUS card with these new machines, but I'll try to remember to do so later this week if AUS has the new machines.
