You're not going to get anywhere and will not get any sort of answer.
I escalated up to the VP level (well, their assistant) who was very nice and helpful but also admitted that after contacting multiple departments, they were not able to actually tell me how many points were subject to confiscation/expiration and could only access the prior 2 years of point activity and provided me that number.
They also could not state when additional information will be provided... only that it will be prior to the policy taking effect and will provide sufficient opportunity to use points... now we're down to almost 2 months left and still nothing. Hertz is such an anti-consumer joke.
