I just booked a Saudi semi-flex (which includes standard seat in the back). I was able to add my SAS # via agent, and he confirmed my STE+ status. However, the forward zone seats are still only selectable by paying $$. Is free preferred seats for STE+ really a published benefit?

the Saudia website does say "Gold Alfursan/Elite Plus members and their companions on the same booking, Silver Alfursan/Elite members, and holders of (Government economy class tickets) can book these seats for free. " But it is unclear if they are only referring to their own Elite Plus.
