Hate to break it to you but it's increasingly becoming that everywhere. I have 4 dsu that are going to waste this year because I never had a chance to use them. Hotels increasingly do everything they can to duck and dodge every benefit, every perk, every supposed requirement of getting the benefits of being flagged as a Hyatt, and Hyatt, like an abused spouse, does absolutely nothing and acts like the hotels are doing them a favor by being flagged Hyatt.

The cheating Chinese WOH members who got banned are a distinct issue without more fraudulent "elite" members certainly has done nothing but exacerbate the issue. Then again so has idiotic stuff like incentivizing trading and selling things like GoH, which has effectively multiplied the number of "elite" guests and stays in the system by a exponential amount. One of the stupidest things Hyatt has done.
