Had to search email to find the 5 year rule change notification as I’m just learning about it thanks to this thread. Mine didn’t state the specific number of points that would be expiring and as everyone has noted, there’s no way of tracking to see what’s at risk and when they will evaporate.

For the people that are seeing points expire already, could those possibly be tied to earning them via a recent promo? The last couple promos state that you’ll earn bonus points for rentals of 2 days or longer but that the bonus points will expire on xxx date (usually within 6 months) Now I’m wondering if Hertz delineates between base points and bonus points or do ALL earned points during a promo period evaporate early even before the 5 years kicks in.
