Note they look at other factors like overall credit, how long you been a cardmember, etc. Your stated assets you disclosed in the application process could also make a difference. If you by chance have a relationship with Goldmans, Morgan Stanley, or Charles Schwab you can get a referral.

Hi Steve, thanks for responding! Our stated assets are in the tens of millions not exceeding 100m. I’ll dig into our investment accounts and see if we can get a referral from somewhere. This is our personal platinum card! I called today but they were basically like “it’s invite only”.
