In this thread, you have responded to everyone who has quoted you, so you did not give up. It’s that….tenacity that makes me think perhaps you just want people to say “you’re right”.
I wasn't at any time trying to establish that I was 'right'. I felt that people had misunderstood me, and I was trying to clarify. But, I feel that people including you then further misunderstood my clarifications as 'argument', responded to that, and the thread lost all sense.
There are plenty of threads on this and other forums where I can have discussions where people understand me and respond to the actual points I'm making in a collaborative fashion. And when I'm wrong I'll admit I'm wrong. But, It seems that this thread is not one of those.
