Some may know I made two excursions to Nimmo Bay, once in mid July, and again first week of December. Wanted to see orcas but despite best efforts of staff, was disappointed. Today I received an email from Jenny with the following text and photos. I’d gladly trade some of my good parking karma for orca karma!

“We finished our season off on Thursday, and in a VERY rare occurrence, we had a pod of 3 Orca whales come right into Nimmo Bay to wish our season a fond farewell! The sun was shinning through the crisp fall weather and it was pure magic! I attached a couple of pictures for you! Here’s hoping they decide to visit us more often ”





In all other respects, Nimmo over-delivered. Returning in June.
