Anyone have a suggestion of which island/resort to pair this with? Have heard that you'd want to get off the main island to make the Seychelles feel unique/special but unsure of what the best hotels are. The other FS looks nice, but the island looks like it could be elsewhere as well.
I think La Digue is the prettiest island by far - you get there by ferry, it's small enough to walk around, though there are ox-carts as taxis. No true luxury offerings but you will get an authentic Seychellois experience. I stayed on La Digue for three weeks back in the 1980s and loved it. Been back a couple of times since then. Praslin is also lovely, bigger and more developed with some smart hotels.
