But it just seems liked there might have been at least one additional hot option that included meat. The bigger concern is that that is the 4th or 5th flight where I encountered the same thing. Once might be just an odd data point but repeatedly offering so many vegetarian options and fewer non-vegetarian options seems like a conscious decision.
This is a pretty typical set of offerings for DL breakfast catering, at least in my recent experience. Lunch/dinner menus usually have 1/3 standard options as vegetarian, 2/5 if you include the pre-order exclusives. As a reference point, AS breakfasts add two pieces of bacon or sausage to the sweet and quiche/frittata options and voila!…not vegetarian. I expect the consciousness of the decision at DL is more rooted in cost than dietary considerations.
