Gives you time to get hungry again for Thierry too 😋
I drove all the way to their Richmond branch and was turned away by the very rude Chinese front staff. They said that they do not accept single-person walk-ins. Fine if they are full. But a couple before and after me were allowed to be on the waitlist.

In other countries, isn't that some form of bias?
Anyway, I drove out (paid my own parking

) towards downtown, and was able to park right in front of Rimowa. I thought I'd give the downtown branch a chance, so off I walked in the rain. They allowed to seat me! Front staff told me they are full but because I was alone, they can serve me for 1 hour and 15 mins. I told her about my nasty experience at their main branch, and she said that next time I should just come to this downtown branch again. Although after I was seated, they did not rush me at all! Food was excellent! Reminds me of when mom and dad used to have me tag along with them to HKG on their business trips! Great suggestion, thanks! I did not have enough time to try out Thierry.

Got to Rimowa and checked out all I wanted to see but ended up not buying because 1) I did not want to go through the hassle of declaring it, and 2) the prices in YVR are just about $100 less than from Rimowa USA. Not that huge of a difference like several years ago.
But thanks for the advice - that will come in handy when I drive back next week when I am back from my trip (flying out of YVR this weekend to TYO).
