Were you status matched and if so how did it work out?

As I am not AY elite and have obtained my Strawberry Gold status organically my means of knowledge of the status match has been from a blog, im not absolutely sure, but i think it was Loyalty lobby where im sure there were a code both for Gold and Plat. I remember I found the plat status match to be the most generous I had seen for a very long time and why I probably still remember about it.
This though doesn't change my previus statement that a AY status match with no strings attached (like trials as Hilton normally does) if it for Gold or Plat is extremely generous and i still find it to be "quite close" ties.
