Regarding invation to pay for lounge, it is just Finnair being Finnair.
It sends me (Finnair Platinum member) email with "your Platinum benifit for this flight.......etc etc" and at the end there is a link with "Join- Join Finnair Plus, Finnair's rewarding frequent flyer program!"
