Yes, because you are booking directly with Marriott. I do it all the time.
The only sort of wrinkle would be if you book a "non-commissionable" rate, you may not get the AA miles from the shopping portal if the order doesn't automatically post and you have to submit missing order request with AAShopping. But you will still get everything from Marriott you normally would.
