Sorry if this has been asked before, but could not find it. If you book a hotel though AA shopping do you get the night credit, points and other benefits from the brand or does it count as a non qualifying third party booking. I have a pending Marriott reservation that I did through the shopping portal which led me to the Marriott site and it now shows in my Marriott profile and also has been tracked. I know it will not post to AA until well after I check out. Will I still get my points, etc from Marriott?
