I stayed at Casa Brera soon after they opened under Authograph Collection (beginning of October 2024). Brief summary: fantastic property!

Location is excellent. About 10min walk to Duomo. Same short walking distance to Cordusio metro station. Easy to reach from Malpensa, if you use public transport (which I always do in Milan).

The property is lovely. Rooms and facilities are top-notch, modern design. I booked a deluxe room (~400 EUR/night) but was upgraded to Junior Suite. Super comfortable bedding, quiet, plenty of natural light. Lovely rooftop pool (small), it becomes a terrace area for the Etero rooftop bar, which I briefly visited. Gym is in the basement, excellent Technogym equipment, free weights, etc.

Breakfast is served in Scena, their main restaurant. They have a small buffet and à la carte menu. Everything is complementary for Bonvoy Platinum++. Small plates but beautifully presented and more than enough to get you ready for the day. Did I mention the coffee? I could have easily spent an hour leisurely enjoying this breakfast.

What really sets this apart from some other properties in Milan is their staff. Extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. They greet you at every step.

It's not cheap, but if I can afford it, it will be my permanent destination on Milan trips.
