Update on this is that I changed the booking to be a prepaid FHR one since I might as well have gotten 5X AMEX MR if I’m not going to earn anything on the stay.

At check in though they did mention both my silver status and the FHR benefits and IHG points posted for the whole stay so YMMV.

Hotel hard product was very good as has been discussed. The bathroom in particular is true 5* luxury tier and they added plastic at the bottom of
the shower door to fix the water leaking that had been reported.
