There is a destination charger at the nearby marriott so the adapter could come in handy if I'm allowed to use it.
Opinion, but I don't know why you'd subject yourself to the difficulty with renting an EV through Hertz and having to drive from MCO down to Marco Island area and deal with stopping to charge and not having a high speed charger available in the area down there. If you saw one listed at a Marriott, then odds are it is in the valet/parking area and not available without paying the outrageous hotel parking rates just to use the charger.

You also may be in for a bad surprise in MCO if your vehicle is not available because they're low on inventory and a previous renter turned in the car late or with low charge level. I'd rather just rent a midsize and then get to pick whatever you want from the PC area. While a Tesla in there isn't very likely now, there are other EVs that will be in the PC area if you're totally set on renting one.
