It's not that all CDG flights are operated solely by E190; there are numerous flights operated by E170s from CDG. And often they get swapped freely from one to the other. In which case it would be pure luck whether one has a free neighbouring seat or not.
I understand the 170 will not get the new seats, and may not get the oven (seriously how much would it cost to do that ?), but this is based on a discussion with a FA. For the seat blocking, I believe and hope this will be happening on the 170 too.
What I don't get is why they added 10 old seats immediately instead of placing the new seats already ? Supply chain issues ?
