This is the one I was talking about. I was wondering if It would have enough time to see if and if it was on my way between my gates or if it's too far because I couldn't tell on the airport map and I've never been to AMS before
It depends which gate you get. ATL is likely either a D or E gate. If you get a D gate higher than D20 it's a significant detour and I probably would not do it. If you get an low number D or an E gate it's a fairly short detour and you should be able to manage a quick look if your inbound is on time and passport control is fast.
