I've been a lifetime diamond elite for 20 years. I regularly get gated offers for diamond select people.
On August 26th I got an offer of 7,770 points per stay for up to 10 stays. This was had to be done by November 15th. No problem for me.
Well it seem the terms and conditions changed if anyone else got that offer. Before the change of terms and conditions, I could stay continuously at the same hotel and get my 7,770 points. I check out once a week and check back in on the same day. For accounting purposes.
To my dismay, when I went to call and check on the delay of my next posting of my 7770 points the lead supervisor said the terms of conditions are you have to check out for 24 hours before you can check back in at the same hotel to get the points. I argued that that's not what the case was when I signed up.
They sent me another set of terms of the condition just now that says now you have to stay away for 24 hours. When I registered for those 10 weeks on August 26th it did not say that.
Anyone else experience that?
