Had the first experience checking in four bags today at an outstation. It wasn't for myself, but for my MIL who was a redemption J ticket from my account. After the third bag was done, the agent looked very confused at us pulling up a fourth bag and even said you'll have to pay a lot for it.

I tried to explain that platinum and ultimate now get four bags, and since this is a redemption booking my MIL would get the same. There was a lot of resistance. Then I showed her the app, where it said only 2 bags, though adding 2 more was free. She was very hesitant, then said she'll make some calls, and then just decided to accept the bag anyway.

Seems that there's some training needed for outstation contractors. Having the app show an accurate number would also help in these situations.
