It seems quite weird, as the flight went to 0 availability and disappeared from the Lufthansa search completely, but on expertflyer business class has 12 open seats (as available to pick) and premium eco is almost empty. As I understand, not everyone selects a seat right away, but if someone buys a business class it feels like selecting a seat of your choice while booking is rather more likely than not? 12 seems like a lot for a completely sold out plane.

Is it possible that the flight is just overbooked massively in economy, so they stopped selling tickets in any class (higher chance for an upgrade, as they would have to move people up), or if that was the case they would still be selling high fare business/premium eco tickets?

I was wondering if maybe something bad happened to the flight, as all three classes were open just few days ago, and then in one day it moved to 1J/0/0 and the next day it went to 0/0/0 all together. Is something like this a common thing?
