I had very early KL flight ZAG-AMS for 6 a.m. on 18 October. One day in advance I called to the PA and asked to make for me separate booking in Y to ensure that I will have a guaranteed seat.

At 12 midnight on 17 October, I called PA and asked to make a free rebooking on the same date flight. The ticket was issued for 4 p.m. direct KL flight ZAG-AMS, I was registered for the flight and got my selected in advance seat.

To be considered:

- I had light unchangable tariff, but it doesn’t influence the right of free change for Ultimates
- Applies only to directs P2P flights
- You must call PA after midnight at the date of departure. Otherwise, PA cannot do change free of charge.
