I discovered the MPC app recently and used it for the first time last week when arriving at JFK Terminal 8. I had to take a selfie pic (did that while taxiing into the gate), confirmed that I had arrived at JFK and within a few seconds received confirmation of a kiosk number to go to in the immigration area. Admittedly the whole immigration area was fairly empty but I found the allotted kiosk very easily and was through in a few minutes. No fingerprints were taken, just a question asked of confirmation of the address of where I was staying in the US. I was so surprised at the ease and speed of the process I said to the guy, 'Is that it?', to which he smiled (yes, they do have a sense of humour after all) and said, 'Yep.'
