I think the misunderstanding in the last couple of posts come from interpreting the direction There are gates for other passports to exit Schengen / enter airside, and none to enter Schengen / exit airside. I believe fed planner was referring to far left (semi-)automated gates at MUC T2 on the upper level towards H gates, which could be deemed "entry gates" to MUC airside
