Oh dear. The only manufactured stay I’ve done so far and it’s the worst HIX by some distance. It looks like it was built for some other brand or possibly no brand with a large generic “hotel” sign on the roof. Inconvenient for tourists to Lisbon unless you’ve got a car and so probably filled with visitors to the local business park and some coach trips. Check in was perfunctory and bordering on disdainful. I don’t expect bowing and scraping but some human interaction is nice even at a HIX. Small rooms, though clean and functional. Really poor breakfast with no scrambled eggs (boiled eggs only - presumed cold) and one sort of sliced cheese with the plastic hams. No mixed fruit but some apples on the counter. Basically, you can have some sugared cereals and make yourself a cold sandwich. If you make the mistake of staying here, there is a large Lidl next door for provisions and up the road was a pretty good steak restaurant and we were not the only hotel guests eating there.
