The chat bot I understand, but why did the phone agents not want to help? What was their reasoning?
It would be on the way of my travel anyway, so just a try. But I know at my home airport is no LH ticket desk.
In the past, I had quite good experiences with changes at the airport.
Phone agents are quite random. The English speaking hotline tells me there are no flights available, even the chat bot is giving me at least several options for a rerouting.
The German speaking hotline, tries to help me, but they cant book me on a specific flight even if it is a Lufthansa flight.

Quite simple cheap Biz-Ticket, directly booked on the (old) LH website, as a multi stop flight for a specific routing.
