One of you would need to be platinum for both of you to gain complimentary access to the F lounge.
J and F passengers stay at the same DC hotels, usually either the Le Meridien in Garhoud or JW Marriott Marquis in Business Bay.
On your question in the other thread, I’m not a fan of the terminal hotel, and would take the DC, but that’s down to personal taste and how much sleep you want to eke outt. If you end up in a J lounge, you’d probably get better variety food at DC hotel.
