It's the $$$, not PQP. A significant portion of my PQPs come from other stuff, like award flight redemption and credit card spend. Posting PQP re GS qualification is useless unless happens to be 100% from spend on UA flights (not too likely in this crowd!)
It’s the “CPM” (Customer Profitability Metric) on UA metal — especially based on last year’s curb-kicking of GS’s flying on corporate discounts.
