In Club I've always enjoyed ordering either a Hindu or Kosher meal (if the menu which people generously share looks particularly uninspiring), so I have two questions [which may be better suited elsewhere, mods feel free to move this if there's somewhere better].
1. Are special meals in First any different to Club (I didn't spot any special meal photos in the First catering thread)?
2. If the flight is classed as a "brunch" flight, what do you think BA will do in terms of catering special meals in First?
In my experience, which is only GFML (Gluten Free), the meals are the same as in Club World, just served on nicer plates.
Regarding your second question, this is a good indicator of the east coast brunch menu -->
FlyerTalk Forums - View Single Post - Long haul in-flight catering 2024 | First Like you, I've a 11am(ish) flight to New York in November, very disappointed to be getting this downgraded (IMHO) type of service.
I'd suggest that you send an email to YouFirst at the beginning of November and ask for the menu(s) for your flight(s), you can then decide whether you are happy to stick with them or change to a special meal.
