I've got a MAN-DXB flight coming up that departs at 08:50. Looking at "What's on your flight" it seems to be a single meal of "Lunch".
When I've done this flight before, it's always been a very light breakfast (coffee / croissant etc.) soon after take off, and then lunch maybe 4 hours into the flight.
Has this changed so that you only get lunch straight after takeoff? Hopefully not!
BA used to do "lunch" right after takeoff on their 09:30 DXB-LHR flights, and in my experience most people skipped it (as they'd already had breakfast in the lounge). Of course, the Club Kitchen was empty... so only managed a couple of sandwiches 5 hours in

I’m not sure if Emirates is cutting back, but on my upcoming flight to the UK (EK29), there’s only one meal service in business class. Previously, there used to be lunch after takeoff followed by a snack before landing, but now it’s just lunch.
