I’d missed that. I thought it was for overnights from the East Coast where a pared-down service along the lines of the former sleeper services makes a degree of sense. But these South American routes are all long, boring overnight flights where to pass the time even if nothing more a decent meal serves a particular purpose.

This is all really, really poor. Far from all the investment in the soft product we’ve been promised ad nauseam from Doyle et al it seems the direction of travel is actually backwards.
