Ah I see how that can be a difficult call as a traveler. Is your Korean proficient? I'm happy to make reservations for people either via Naver Reservations, Catch Table, etc if people need help. In terms of finding good restaurants, like any food scene, places trend up and down in quality so it's hard to make too many blind recommendations.
