I still don’t know how to pronounce the name of this hotel and continue to embarrass myself each time I attempt to say it. Oh, well, here are my impressions and photos:
Pros:
- Bed was generally comfortable (except for the covers) - plush mattress, plush pillows
- Views were nice facing the front - loved the old building with all of the birds
- Shower pressure was good and satisfactory - I used the rainfall head
- Great caramel bars left as a welcome gift
- At some point, they delivered a voucher for the Vault Bar, but I didn’t notice it until the morning so couldn’t partake
- Had to ask, but no problem with 3 PM late checkout
- Great location - very walkable to central restaurants
- Elite breakfast was good - good omelet, great pancakes from the menu, coffees a bit small and only from machines (JW and Sheraton have baristas)
Neutral:
- Only upgraded to Gold Deluxe, Heritage showed available night before but not morning of - guess it’s fine if that really was availability
Cons:
- Bed covers too thin
- Shower seemed to have flooding problem under the sink counter
I would come back, but please fluff up the duvets!
